A few small things make remote support smoother and safer.
Remote session checklist
- Plug the device into power if it is a laptop.
- Close bank, medical, password manager, or private windows before the session.
- Keep your phone nearby in case we need to talk through a permission prompt.
- Download RustDesk from the remote support page.
- Send your RustDesk ID and temporary password through the secret portal.
- Stay near the computer until the session starts.
