A few small things make remote support smoother and safer.

Remote session checklist

  • Plug the device into power if it is a laptop.
  • Close bank, medical, password manager, or private windows before the session.
  • Keep your phone nearby in case we need to talk through a permission prompt.
  • Download RustDesk from the remote support page.
  • Send your RustDesk ID and temporary password through the secret portal.
  • Stay near the computer until the session starts.
